Yet another case of a CIA operative who is "left behind" in Lahore of all places...this man is in in danger; he could be hanged. His jailers are no friends of the U.S. He went over there with a diplomatic passport. He didn't sign on for this s#$^^& - the guys that high tailed it out of there after destroying the documents at the safe house should have made sure they got him out when he was in trouble- first.

Shockingly, it appears that the post-Gitmo "art therapy rehabilitation programs" are not working as well as expected. Terrorists released from Gitmo and sent to Saudi Arabia are placed into programs that encourage positive feelings and the appropriate expression thereof - many times which include crayons and paints.

No one - and I mean, NO ONE - could've predicted that a terrorist wouldn't reform under such circumstances. I, for one, am shocked, SHOCKED, I say.

According to the AP in Dearborn Michigan, the CIA released a new recruiting commercial focused on Arab-Americans. It shows several people at a dinner party, with a male voice speaking in a Middle Eastern accent: "Your nation, your world," as the camera moves to reveal the dinner party is in an upper level of a high rise building. The shot moves within seconds to an image from space. "They're worth protecting," the voice says, ending with "Careers in the CIA."

When the next large-scale TERRORIST event occurs, and it will, I want to see how many prosecutions there are against the intelligence community, and how much whining continues! People will be begging for whatever it takes to get the bad guys and make it go away. Not everything and everyone is perfect and clean. Yes, we're a nation of principles and ideals, but that doesn't mean we're idealistic with our heads in the sand (or other dark places).
