Ilario Pantano has served his country in and out of uniform in three wars (Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan) and has protected his community in North Carolina as both a law enforcement officer and a veterans advocate.

For 20 years, Pantano has ethically managed risk and strategic communications in dynamic environments, but his responsibilities as a Christian father and husband bring him the most joy.

As an author and commentator (Malkin video below), Pantano has made a number of media appearances in order to advocate for the men and women who keep our country safe, particularly wounded veterans.  Most recently he raised awareness and produced a film in support of a wounded warrior charity, Freedom is Not Free.
